About the Skill Centre Program
Canada Soccer’s Skill Centre Program provides a fun, high-quality experience for young players while fostering skill development, community, and engagement. Following Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) principles, it helps players build fundamental skills in a structured, enjoyable environment.

- Engage young players in soccer.
- Provide structured training for an optimal experience.
- Enhance player development through better training and competition.

- Format: Small group training with weekly rotations (no fixed teams).

About the Skill Centre Program
The Skill Centre program is designed for U8 to U10 players, focusing on player retention, development, and coach training. It offers two levels: Skill Centre 1 and Skill Centre 2, providing more time on the field for those who want additional training. The program is led by Chilliwack FC staff coaches and supported by parent coaches.
Players are grouped into smaller training groups each week rather than assigned to fixed teams. This structure helps players develop adaptability by playing with different teammates regularly.
Training Structure
- Skill Centre 1: One training session + one game per week
- Skill Centre 2: Two training sessions + one game per week
- Skill Centre 2 players may participate in FV ACE Jamboree events or other tournaments.

Skill Centre +

The 2025 Skill Centre + Program offers additional weekly training for U9 and U10 players, focusing on speed, agility, technical skills, and small-sided games for enhanced development in soccer.

Skill Centre + (U9–U10)
About the Skill Centre + Program
Skill Centre + is an additional program for U9 and U10 players (born in 2016 and 2015). Registration is by application only, with selections made by our Technical Director in consultation with Skill Centre 1 & 2 staff coaches.
Selections are based on fall Skill Centre staff assessments during practices and games, along with a personal review by the Technical Director.
This program prepares players for our Development Centre training, designed for U11-U15 athletes seeking a more competitive soccer experience.
Training Structure
- One additional session per week on Fridays
- Must be enrolled in Skill Centre 1 or 2 (Spring) or Ice Breaker (Winter) before applying
- Focus areas: Speed, agility, quickness (SAQ), technical skills (dribbling, passing, shooting), 1v1/2v2 drills, and small-sided games

The 2025 “Under the Lights” In-House Recreational Spring League offers U11-U18 players a fun, relaxed soccer experience with one evening game per week and no training sessions required.

2025 Chilliwack Spring League – Under The Lights
Chilliwack FC returns with another season of our in-house Spring League, now called “Under The Lights” (formerly known as “Ford” Spring Soccer).
The Chilliwack FC Spring League is open to all U11-U18 players and follows a game-only format. This program is perfect for players looking for a lighter schedule while still enjoying the game.

- One game per week (no training sessions)
- Game-only format for players who want a flexible schedule

Chilliwack FC is proud to offer an Adaptive Program for children and youth (U6-U14) to experience soccer in a barrier-free environment.
This program is designed for players with diverse abilities who would benefit from an adapted setting. Our goal is to help players develop basic soccer and motor skills in a supported, small-scale environment while fostering new friendships.
Staff coaches will focus on meaningful participation rather than competition.

Spring Cascadia League
(U11–U18)
APRIL 5 – JUNE 8 2025
A structured, competitive league providing weekly training sessions and games, tailored to player development at all levels.

Spring Cascadia League (U11–U18)
2025 Spring Cascadia League
We are back for another Spring season in the Cascadia League! This structured league is ideal for players looking to continue their development throughout the Spring months.
Players in Divisions 1 & 2 will receive two training sessions and one game per week, while Division 3 teams will have one training session and one game per week.
Note: Teams in this league will travel for games to locations such as White Rock, Burnaby, and North Vancouver.
Key Details
- This program is for U11+ players seeking competitive league soccer during the Spring.
- It is separate from the in-house recreational league “Under the Lights.”
- If your child did not play on a development or recreational team during Fall/Winter, please contact our Technical Director, Vaggeli Boucas, for guidance.
Training Schedule
- Boys: Monday and/or Wednesday
- Girls: Tuesday and/or Thursday
Players are expected to attend all training sessions and games. Team formations and division placements will be determined based on registration numbers and player evaluations by our Technical Director and staff.

Kit Details

- All U11 (U10 Intake) players must purchase the kit.

Chilliwack FC is back with the Spring Development Centre program for U11-12 and U13-15. Goalkeepers receive a bonus free practice each week! This program helps players enhance their skills, particularly for those in Division 1 and 2 teams looking to supplement their training.
Who Can Join?
The Development Centre is for players with a passion for soccer, a strong desire to improve, and a commitment to attending every session with enthusiasm.
We encourage players to enter with these qualities or develop them throughout the program, implementing their learnings in their team environments. Chilliwack FC aims to make this a program players are excited about, offering focused coaching to elevate their game.

Welcome to the Club Goalkeeper Program. This program offers specialized training focused on foundational goalkeeping skills, including technique work, individual drills, and small-group exercises.
Goalkeepers will train once a week with our club goalkeeper coach, Glory Shumbusho, ensuring their proper development throughout the year.
